Meet the Team

DANIEL FAYE

CPA, MBA, Owner

Dan is originally from Asbury, NJ, and currently resides in Shippensburg, PA. He has earned both his bachelor's degree in accounting and Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University. Dan rejoined the firm in September 2022 and became the owner in November 2022. He is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania as a Certified Public Accountant and has been in accounting for over 13 years. Additionally, Dan spent 12 years in the PA Army National Guard, attaining the rank of Captain before leaving the service in 2017. In his personal life, Dan, his wife Abby, and their sons Alex and Matthew enjoy spending time at a family cabin in Maine. Dan can be found outside of work doing projects around the house.

MELANIE KINNEY

EA, Tax Manager

Melanie is a native of York, PA. She has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and graduate work in Management Information Systems from Shippensburg University. Melanie is an Enrolled Agent, a professional license permitting her to represent taxpayers before the IRS. She has been in the tax industry for over 10 years. Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband Mike, young adult children Audrey and Elliot, and dog Mocha. She loves drinking coffee, reading, managing her fairy garden, going to live performances, and all things related to the Muppets and Disney.

DARRELL SMITH

NP, Office Manager, IT Manager

Darrell grew up in Hanover, PA, where he graduated from New Oxford High School. He has an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and has been with us for 11 years. Darrell currently lives in Gettysburg, where he does an extensive amount of computer gaming. He enjoys spending time listening to books, golfing on occasion, and traveling just for the sake of driving. He has 3 nieces that he loves to spoil, much to the chagrin of their parents. He is also a Pennsylvania-appointed Notary Public.

ASHLEY BOSSERMAN

MSA, AFSP, Senior Accountant I

Ashley is originally from York and graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, as well as a master of science degree in Accounting with a specialization in Taxation from Southern New Hampshire University. She started with us as an intern and has been with Flickinger for 7 years. Ashley is actively working on her CPA and is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants. An avid outdoor lover, she enjoys traveling with her husband Tanner, young son Elijah, and dog Willow. Ashley also loves gardening and doing paper crafts.

GWENDOLYN HARTUNG

MBA, AFSP, Senior Accountant I

Gwen grew up in Shippensburg, PA, where she graduated with her BSBA in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University. She is in her 6th year with us at Flickinger & Co., LLC. Gwen lives in York with her cat, George, and spends time reading and playing video games. She also dabbles in crochet, which she learned from her mom, using a family heirloom crochet hook. During the spring and summer, she is working on expanding her gardens, having recently branched out to strawberries and raspberries in addition to a variety of flowers.

LISA PATTON

RTRP, AFSP, Staff Accountant

Lisa is originally from York Haven but now lives in Dover, PA. Lisa has an Associate's degree in Accounting from YTI Career Institute. While she is only in her 3rd year with us, she has been working in the accounting field for over 23 years. Lisa passed the rigorous Registered Tax Return Preparer Exam and maintains her status each year in the Annual Filing Season Program with continuing tax education. She is a proud grandmother of 2 young ladies and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

SHELBY REISINGER

Lead Administrator

Shelby graduated from West York High School and currently lives in Dover, PA, with her family. She has two beautiful girls named Kylynn and Makenna with her partner, Jeff, along with pet cat Ovi and dog Roxy. Shelby has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Harrisburg Area Community College. She has 9 years of experience in her role as Lead Administrator.
